Summary

Description

A Monday morning with a view! Dalkey from the heights was a small village at that time, scattered and with a great sea view. At first I thought those rocks in the foreground were fence height but looking at the hayricks beside them they appear to be much bigger. Where was this taken from?

Apart from resounding agreement on how clear this image is, we have confirmation that this was taken (looking northwards across Ardbrugh Road) from atop Dalkey Quarry. Also, based on investigations from [/photos/gnmcauley/ Niall McAuley], and input/corroboration from [/photos/91549360@N03/ O Mac], it seems confirmed that this image was taken in the mid-1890s....
