English: COCHITI LAKE, N.M. — A Secchi Disk suspended at the water's edge on Cochiti Lake, July 29, 2011. Secchi disks are used to measure the clarity of water. The lake is downstream from canyons severely burned in the Las Conchas fire. Debris, including ash, is beginning to enter the lake.
