Summary

Description
English: The flag was carried in Washington D.C. in a parade by a Virginia Home Guard unit, it caused quite a stir by many in the crowd for not being an American flag. That a committee was formed too banned any flag that was not the American flag from being used in a parade in D.C. The flag was described as: "...a blue flag with the coat-of-arms of Virginia painted on it in gold.."
