The flag is of rectangular shape and divided into three horizontal stripes: blue, yellow and blue. Ratio of stripe widths is five to one to two (5 : 1 : 2).
Two five-pointed stars are placed on the top stripe on the side nearest to the flagpole (upper hoist). First star has a diameter equal to the one-sixth (1/6) of the flag height: centre of the star is located at a distance of 1/6 of of the flag height both from the top and the left edges of the flag. The second star has a diameter equal to the two-ninths (2/9) of the flag height: the centre point of the star is located at the distance of one-third (1/3) of the flag height, both from the top anth the left edges of the flag.
End of each star points upwards. Points of stars are acute and are thirty-six degrees (36°) each. Proportion of width to length is two to three (2 : 3).
Colours
The blue colour of the flag of Curaçao is ultramarine (Pantone 280) and the yellow colour is lemon yellow (Pantone 102).
