English: reprint of 1880s portrait - probably a carte-de-visite Français : Pierre-Eugène Secrétan, fondateur de l’usine Sainte-Marguerite en 1877, autodidacte talentueux, éprouva dès son plus jeune âge, une fascination pour le cuivre. Grâce à une volonté farouche, doublée d’une intelligence exceptionnelle, il se retrouva très vite, dans les années 1881-1886, à la tête d’une société métallurgique, « La Société Industrielle et Commerciale des Métaux », rivalisant avec les entreprises anglaises. |
