![]() This media file has been nominated for deletion since 7 February 2025. To discuss it, please visit the nomination page.
Do not remove this tag until the deletion nomination is closed. Reason for the nomination: Hello. I would really like it to be known that I am not nominating these for deletion in any attempts to censor what Musk did. I think it is wrong and very much a Nazi salute. Rather, these works are in violation of copyright. If on the Wikipedia page we have to have a Fair Use gif of the gesture, then these stills from that are derivatives of a copyrighted work. I will say that for some of these images where the usage is De Minimis, like the Maxine Waters and Choose to Fight Protest images, we can just blur the image and retain the pictures otherwise. What thoughts do people have?

Summary
DescriptionElon Musk Nazi salute.jpg |
English: Here are the pictures from this afternoon's "We Choose to Fight: Nobody Elected Elon" MoveOn protest at the Department of Treasury.
Just based on what I saw, I'd say 1500 people came to fight back against the oppressive, dehumanizing techniques of the current administration. I really did not want to go, and I felt so scared after the Proud Boys visits in 2020. But I could not look myself in the mirror and stand back anymore. So just like 1.0, all of these photos are available on Flickr in Creative Commons for media, influencers, and everyday people like me and you to use. Or just take and share any of these.
