Description
English: Sri Krishna, in his role as an Envoy of Pandavas to the Kaurava Court. The devout Yudhishthira begs Krishna to make the Kauravas understand the pointlessness of war as he is overcome with sorrow at the destruction that a war would bring. After traveling to Hastinapura, Krishna encounters disrespect and attempts to be captured by the Kauravas at the court of Kaurava king Duryodhana. An enraged Satyaki, a devoted follower of the Lord, swings his sword to defend Krishna. Without any delay, Krishna extends his hand to stop Satyaki and shows his Viswaroopam to all those in the court. One of the most important scenes in Ravi Varma's adaptation of the epic Mahabharata.
