Diese Hermen werden von der Forschung auf stilkritische Weise dem Dresdener Bildhauer Paul Heermann (1673 - 1732) zugeschrieben, der hier unter der Oberleitung von Daniel Mattäus Pöppelmann arbeitete. Heute handelt es sich am Bau um Kopien nach den Zerstörungen des Zweiten Weltkrieges,
