| Description |
GHSC-PSM worked together with the Ethiopian government structures at different levels to efficiently and effectively distribute over 4.1 million long lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs) in four regional states of the country in less than two months. GHSC-PSM uses locally available means to ensure the cost-effective and timely distribution of LLINs to communities. Residents of Ambasel in northeastern Ethiopia, Amhara State, show remarkable commitment working with GHSC-PSM and walk for up to eight hours carrying 2,400 LLINs together with donkeys in route to reach Gishen Mariam town.
