Object history
Deutsch: Die Grundlage des Wappens ist eine heraldische Darstellung des Flusses, der Fliede, an dem der Ort liegt und der mit dem Ort den gleichen Namen führt. Der Name wurde erstmals in einer Urkunde um 790 genannt. Dieser einfache Wellenbalken hat durch die Krone ein charakteristisches Beizeichen erhalten, das in der Geschichte der Gemeinde als „Königreich Flieden“ begründet ist.
