Reason: The blazon for these arms appears to have been misinterpreted; the lymphad is not a charge on the shield, but a unique supporter. The bordure is not around the lymphad but around the shield gyronny which is itself supported by the lymphad. The lymphad also has furled sails, oars in action, and flags and pennons flying, not of which appear in the present image. |
