Kamerun, Verladen von Bananen an der Landungsbrücke der Afrikanischen Fruchtkompagnie bei Tiko
Unter den Ausfuhrerzeugnissen unserer ehemaligen Kolonie Kamerun steht heute die Banane an erster Stelle. Deutsche Pflanzungsgesellschaften, voran die Afrikanische Fruchtkompagnie Hamburg, sind es, die diese Früchte unter Leitung deutscher Beamter anpflanzen und ernten. Deutsche Dampfer mit grossen Kühlanlagen führen sie nach Deutschland dem Verbraucher zu.
