English: The Earl Blumenauer Bridge, a new bicycle and pedestrian bridge over Interstate 84 in Portland, Oregon, under construction. This view looking east from Grand Avenue on October 18, 2021, was taken 8–9 days after the bridge's main span was pulled across the freeway – during a temporary, all-weekend closure of the freeway – on temporary supports that will later be removed. At left, the bridge's span over the Union Pacific Railroad track had yet to be constructed at the time of the photo. The bridge is projected to open in summer 2022. |
