Historical prices for works by Leprince include the 1907 auction in Paris of two small paintings dated 1819, Le Depart de la Diligense and L’Arivèe de la Diligense, which sold for $4,500 ("Mühlbacher Sale", American Art News, Vol. 5, No. 31 [Jun. 15, 1907], p. 10).
