Description
English: Poster for the June 14, 1980, Anna Crusis Women's Choir concert, created by artist Gale B. Russo. Her description of the image is as follows: "The image of women walking and singing starts with the women's backs to the viewer (in lower left corner of picture.) The line of women moves from the bottom of the page, up towards the top and turns to the right, moving across the top of the page, then turning to face the viewer and move downward. The lead woman is stepping lively with her left foot extended as she sings and shakes a tambourine. This image has the date of the concert that year, Saturday, June 14th, 8.00 p.m. at Old Pine Street Church. There is also another image (a woodcut) that was used as a leaflet to advertise a concert." This is one of many variants of the singing line of "Annas" that have been used on posters and other materials.
