English: Antique print of Amsterdam, view from the IJ, 1699. View from the IJ. Title in lobe cartouche at the top. At the top right is the coat of arms of Amsterdam. Top left is the city seal with the cog. In the foreground are numerous ships. Below the print is a brief description in four languages and a list of important buildings. Made by Frederik de Wit.
Nederlands: Antieke prent van Amsterdam, aanzicht vanaf het IJ, 1699. Titel in kwabcartouche bovenaan. Rechtsboven is het wapen van Amsterdam. Linksboven is de stadszegel met de kogge. Op de voorgrond zijn talrijke schepen. Onder de prent is een beknopte beschrijving in vier talen en een lijst van belangrijke gebouwen. Gemaakt door Frederik de Wit.
