Amblygonocarpus andongensis (Mimosoideae) Afrikaans: Dubbelveervormig-saamgestelde blaar, met twee pinna-pare, van 'n Skotseratelboom. 'n Fotokopie van 'n gepersde blaar wat in Desember 1995 van 'n groot woudboom in die Inhamitanga-woud (onversteurd in 1995) van sentraal-Mosambiek versamel is.
Elke pinna het in dié geval 15 groot blaartjies, met stomp of ingekeepte punte. Blare van die spesie kan tot 5 pinna-pare hê, elk met 4 tot 7 blaartjie-pare. Hierdie onvolledige blaar 159 mm lank, asimmetriese pinnas 115–125 mm lank (uitgestrek), asimmetriese blaartjie 18x11 mm, aan fyn blaarveersteeltjie. Sodra dit verdroog word die blaartjies maklik van die delikate blaar afgewerp. English: Twice pinnate compound leaf, with two pinna pairs, of a Scotsman's rattle tree. A photocopy of a pressed leaf collected in December 1995 from a large forest tree at Inhamitanga Forest (undisturbed in 1995) in central Mozambique. Each pinna in this case has 15 large, blunt-tipped or notched leaflets. Leaves of this species may have up to 5 pairs of pinnae, each with 4 to 7 pairs of leaflets. This incomplete leaf 159 mm long, asymmetric pinnas 115–125 mm long (outstretched), asymmetric leaflet 18x11 mm, on fine petiolule. Once dry, the leaflets are easily dropped from the delicate leaf. |
