This year is the first time that NATO members, I mean Romania, Bulgaria, Latvian, Lithuanian militaries are attending this exercise and they’re participating in this exercise, so it’s very important time for us, very important that it is NATO members first time in Georgia and joining together in these exercises.”

And what that allows us to do is transition rapidly away from the counter insurgency requirement of Iraq and now Afghanistan and go back to a more general purpose infantry force that can respond to regional crisis.”
