Summary
| Description |
English: Shape model of asteroid 10 Hygiea viewed at three different mutually orthogonal directions (x, y, z). The x-direction and y-direction views (1st and 2nd from left) look directly at Hygiea's equator at different parts of its surface, while the z-direction view looks directly toward Hygiea's rotational north pole, which is indicated with the red arrow. This shape model was derived from VLT images of Hygiea from 2017-2018, which resolved the object's nearly spherical shape.
