Proposed move (page rename)
[edit]I'm new to wikipedia and this is my first page so please bear with me. Also, despite being a wikipedia reader for forever, I am also completely unaware of wikipedia terminology and customs.
I am aware that there already is a page called 'Montague Phillips' - the composer. Now I have an ominous dialog telling me that a page with this name already exists.
All along I intended that this page should be called 'Montague Phillips (Chemist)' or something like that. However, I couldn't figure out how to make that happen when I sent the page for review.
I could just move it myself but that seems to be against wikipedia protocol (as in undiscussed move).
So I'm throwing it out there. My proposal is to rename this page to 'Draft:Montague Philips (Chemist)'.
Any thoughts/objections? Papyrocracy (talk) 23:35, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- I have now renamed the page to 'Montague Phillips (Chemist)'.
- (Don't know how that will affect the review but fingers crossed ...) Papyrocracy (talk) 14:04, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
- At least it's not complaining about the name being a duplicate any more Papyrocracy (talk) 14:06, 19 March 2025 (UTC)
