Maggie Cohn
Maggie Cohn (born 1962[when?][citation needed]) is an American screenwriter.[1] She is mostly known for Lou (2022), American Crime Story (2016) and The Staircase (2022).[citation needed]
Career
[edit]Cohn attended Vassar College in 2003.[2]
In 2023, HBO Max developed a scripted series based on Heidi Fleiss written by Cohn.[3][clarification needed]
Cohn was nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award in 2023 for the Staircase.[4] She previously won the award in 2019 for American Crime Story.[citation needed] She also won a Producers Guild of America Award for American Crime Story.[5]
A limited TV series called The Challenger is currently being written by Cohn, based on the 2022 Meredith Bagby book, The New Guys: The Historic Class of Astronauts That Broke Barriers and Changed the Face of Space Travel about the Space Shuttle Challenger.[6][when?]
Personal life
[edit]Cohn has been in a relationship with Colin Firth since 2022. They met on the set of the drama series, The Staircase.[7]
