The 2025 Scottish Challenge Cup final, also known as the SPFL Trust Trophy final for sponsorship reasons,[1] will be played on 30 March 2025 between the Scottish Championship sides Queen’s Park and Livingston.[2] It will be the 32nd final of the Scottish Challenge Cup since it was first organised in 1990 to celebrate the centenary of the now defunct Scottish Football League, and the tenth since the SPFL was formed. It will be played at Falkirk Stadium.[3]
Route to the final

Queen’s Park
[edit]Queen’s Park started in the Third Round, where they were drawn to play Edinburgh City at their home ground, Lesser Hampden. They won 1–0 [4]. In the Fourth Round, they played Annan Athletic. They beat Annan at away at Galabank 4–1 [5]. In the quarter-finals, they beat Rangers B 3–1 at home [6]. In the semi-finals, Queen’s Park played East Kilbride at home. After finishing 2–2 at the end of the 90 minutes, they scored 4 goals in extra time to win 6–2[7], to progress to the final.

Livingston
[edit]Livingston started in the Third Round, where they were drawn to play Spartans away at Ainslie Park, where the won 2–0[8]. In the Fourth Round, they played Inverness Caledonian Thistle at their home ground, The Home of the Set Fare Arena. The game finished 2–2 after extra time, and Livingston won 5–4 on penalties[9]. In the quarter-finals, they beat Morton at home 2–1[10] In the semi-finals, Livingston beat Dunfermline 2–0 away at KDM Group East End Park to progress to the final[11].
