The 1st Mobile Contingent is a corps leader grade^[1] formation of China's People's Armed Police (PAP). It was formed in 2017-2018 during PAP reforms^[2] from units previously subordinated to PAP mobile divisions.^[3]

Mobile contingents are rapid response formations^[4] tasked with internal stability, wartime support, and maritime rights protection missions.^[5] The 1st Mobile Contingent is likely specifically tasked with reinforcing internal security forces in Beijing.^[1]
